- Identify, analyse and develop solutions and improvements
- Apply a Lean process improvement methodology (DMAIC) and useful Lean Six Sigma tools to an improvement project

There are four key elements to assessment and certification
- Your completed A3 Report based on a selected workplace Lean project
- A 500-word reflection summary of your A3 project and what you have learned
- A signed copy of a 'Statement of Originality' document to verify your project and assignment is a product of your own work
- A 10 minute Management Presentation of your A3 Report
An introduction to Lean Thinking, the Concepts of Waste & Value and beginning to scope your project and develop your project charter
Your final A3 report will document the DMAIC process you followed to deliver your chosen workplace project. It will present the Lean Six Sigma tools that you selected and applied during your project.
